Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Spark Your Business collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or get in touch with us. We operate from the Netherlands and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Spark Your Business is a technology consultancy based in the Netherlands. For the purposes of the GDPR, we act as the data controller for any personal data you share with us through this website.
Data we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, optionally your company, the service you are interested in, and the content of your message. We only collect data you give us voluntarily.
When you browse this website, our analytics provider collects aggregated, anonymised usage data — pages visited, device type, country, and similar metrics. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.
How we use your data
We use contact form submissions solely to respond to your inquiry, scope potential work, and follow up on our conversation. We will never sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
We use analytics data to understand which content is useful, improve the site, and spot technical issues.
Legal basis for processing
We process contact form data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We process analytics data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where consent is required by local law, we will ask for it.
Third parties and data transfers
We use Vercel (vercel.com) for hosting, analytics, and performance insights. Vercel may process data outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use Telegram to receive notifications when a contact form is submitted. The content of your message is delivered to our private Telegram channel so we can respond quickly.
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.
Cookies
This website uses a minimal set of cookies required for basic functionality, theme preference, and privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period, typically up to 24 months, unless we enter into an ongoing engagement. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page. We will respond within one month.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
